Basic Italian style dress. Side lacing, done in red cotton twill. Not 100% historically accurate, but comfy and great for Renaissance Faire or working in the kitchen at SCA. Worn with a black linen skirt and a white cotton gauze chemise, trimmed in black edging.
I made one of an almost identical design years ago- though mine's from a navy blue cotton and light blue poly blend (much, much less accurate). It has become my loaner dress over the years since it's comfy, side lacing allows for a good range of sizes, and it's machine washable.

I did make it, thanks!
